  La Covatilla is a good place to spend a couple days learning to ski. The conditions are good enough and the slopes are fine for learning. If you're looking for terrific action, this is not the place but it's rather enjoyable.

  Only a couple of hours drive from Madrid. The resort is quite small, but it is an excellent place for children to learn. Is the perfect place for a sky weekend. The surroundings are beautiful and there are very nice places to eat as well. Very recomendable.

  I always have a lot of fun when I go there! The problem is the weather there. It's really hard (at least in my experience) to have two days in a row with good weather for skiing or snow.

  Also the material that is rented there is not very good. It is enough for beginners, but they should have the option to get better gear by paying extra.
